I think it left me curious enough to go and read another book in this series, though this book did give me a feeling of insta-love, even though the main character isn't supposed to fall in love with the man he meets. But the way Deacon hates to have to say goodbye to Steve, just gave me insta-love vibes. I hope this will not be the case in each book that follows.
